#University Of Al-kitab Sponsers The Second Edition Of The Quran Memorization Ceremony

Under the auspices of Al-Kitab University and in cooperation with the Great Mosque of Al-Nour in Kirkuk, and in the presence of Kirkuk Governor Rebwar Taha, President of Al-Kitab University, Professor Dr. Ayad Barznji, Mr. Yaqoub Najmadden, investor of Al-Kitab University, and a group of academic and religious figures, in addition to the parents of the children, Al-Kitab University witnessed today (Saturday) a ceremony honoring the budding memorizers of the Holy Quran in an atmosphere characterized by spirituality and joy.

The ceremony opened with the recitation of verses from the Holy Quran with the playing of the Iraqi national anthem, followed by welcoming words from the university administration, where they expressed their pride in this initiative that seeks to support children in their Quranic journey and to devote the lofty Islamic values. The words also stressed the importance of the role of educational institutions in enhancing religious and cultural awareness among the younger generations.

In a speech delivered during the ceremony, Kirkuk Governor Rebwar Taha praised the efforts made to organize this event, noting that supporting the memorizers of the Holy Quran is a duty of all institutions. He also commended the role of Al-Kitab University in presenting these initiatives that enhance the link between religious and academic education.

For his part, Professor Dr. Ayad Barznji, President of Al-Kitab University, stressed the importance of this event in encouraging children to memorize the Holy Quran and promote Islamic values, and the university’s full support for these activities that contribute to building an aware generation that adheres to its religious and cultural identity. The ceremony included a number of distinctive segments, including Quranic recitations by the honored children, in addition to cultural and educational performances. At the end, certificates of appreciation and awards were distributed to the children and their parents in appreciation of their efforts and dedication to memorizing the Book of Allah, amid an atmosphere of pride and honor.
