Nominated startup projects from the Technological Incubator at Al-Kitab University for participation in a preparatory project course

The Technological Incubator at Al-Kitab University received a special invitation for entrepreneurs and startups within the incubator to attend a hands-on training course focused on evaluating the growth of newly established companies and entrepreneurial ideas. The course targets student-led projects from the university, aiming to help them transform their ideas into successful startups.

Diversity of Entrepreneurial Projects
The participating projects were distinguished by their reliance on available local resources, aiming to support Iraqi local brands and enrich the market with essential products. These projects span diverse fields such as healthy food entrepreneurship, smart recycling, beekeeping, and the development of training and educational tools utilizing artificial intelligence and various electronic tools. All of this aligns with the ministry’s plan for digital transformation in education and the economy.

Many innovative students participated in the course, presenting their entrepreneurial projects as outlined in the table below.

Participant Evaluation
Participants received a comprehensive evaluation of their ideas and startups based on three certified levels:

  • MRA1: Entrepreneurial Idea Assessment Level
  • MRA2: Initial Market Readiness Assessment Level
  • MRA3: Advanced Growth Assessment Level

Training and Online Lecture
The lecture was delivered online via the Webex platform in English, titled:
USM Turbocharge All Spark 2024 – Market Readiness Workshop
This training course is part of the academic collaboration between Al-Kitab University and the University of Science Malaysia, aiming to enhance students’ abilities to build impactful entrepreneurial projects with successful market potential.
